Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology/Oncology team at LifeBridge Health. As part of our program at the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, you will work in a fully accredited facility specializing in the treatment of cancer, blood disorders, and malignancies. This full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate with board-certified Medical Oncologists, provide outpatient care, clear patients for treatment, and conduct inpatient consultations.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for a designated patient population.
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose, and treat episodic illnesses.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and procedures.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive therapies.
- Coordinate all aspects of care with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in ambulatory and inpatient hematology/oncology.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Science.
- Certification in CPR, BLS, and DEA. AOCNP preferred or obtained within 2 years.
- Registered Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
- Strong interpersonal skills, clinical knowledge in oncology, and ability to work independently.
