Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specialized in Hematology/Oncology to join our team at LifeBridge Health. This full-time position based in Westminster, MD offers you the opportunity to work at the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, a prestigious program focusing on cancer treatment and blood disorders. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with board-certified Medical Oncologists, providing outpatient care, ensuring treatment readiness, and conducting inpatient consultations as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hematology/oncology practice.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Science.
- Certifications including CPR, BLS, DEA, and preferably AOCNP within 2 years.
- Registered Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and treatment.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Administer chemotherapy and supportive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.
