Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Room at Grace Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining a safe patient environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care following the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organizational guidelines.
- Assess and address the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care delivery.
- Maintain competency in clinical skills and knowledge to uphold current standards of practice.
- Contribute to creating a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- PALS and Hazmat certification within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
- Completion of orientation as per policy.
