NURSING GRADUATE

Job Description

We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Emergency Room requires a commitment to day and night shifts with varying hours. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients in compliance with established protocols and guidelines, assess patient needs, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure a safe care environment. The role involves developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient care plans. Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, hold current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State, have at least 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care, possess BLS certification, and obtain ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications within specified timeframes. Certification in Emergency Nursing is preferred. The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center offers a state-of-the-art facility with modern amenities for efficient emergency care, including private treatment rooms, a behavioral health treatment pod, and advanced medical equipment like a CT Scanner for early diagnosis.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
• Completion of orientation as per policy/procedures.
