NURSING GRADUATE

Job Description

We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Emergency Room at Grace Medical Center requires a weekend commitment with day and night shifts. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in compliance with nursing standards and organizational protocols. You will collaborate with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to deliver quality care and maintain a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care following Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual needs.
• Assess patients for changes affecting recovery.
• Maintain clinical knowledge and skills competency for current standards of practice.
• Create a safe patient care environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications preferred.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing is a plus.

The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center offers a state-of-the-art facility with private treatment rooms, advanced technology, and a personalized care approach. The department includes negative pressure rooms for infectious diseases and a behavioral health treatment pod. A CT Scanner is available for early diagnosis of critical conditions.
