Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Emergency Room at Grace Medical Center requires a weekend commitment with day and night shifts. The Staff Nurse role involves providing nursing care to patients in compliance with state regulations and organizational protocols. The responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining clinical competency. The unit boasts a state-of-the-art Emergency Department with modern technology and amenities to provide quality care to patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of Nursing Experience in Emergency Services preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Hazmat certifications preferred.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is a plus.
Unit Details
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center offers 17,000 square feet of space with advanced technology and amenities. It features private treatment rooms, a providers' station, negative pressure rooms, and a behavioral health treatment pod. The department includes the latest CT Scanner for early diagnosis of various conditions.
