Job Description
Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc. is seeking an On-Call CUA Case Manager Supervisor to join our Community Umbrella Agency team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will supervise the activities of the On-Call Case Management Team, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations set by the CUA and relevant agencies. This position includes assigning on-call duties, training staff, reviewing case activities, and initiating corrective actions when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the On-Call Case Management Team to achieve safety, permanency, and well-being goals for children and families.
- Review and assign casework functions, recommend operational changes, and liaise with welfare agencies.
- Screen after-hour calls, dispatch staff for emergencies, and review cases for necessary action.
- Provide training in social work techniques, evaluate worker performance, and conduct regular supervision.
- Establish trusting relationships with families, attend court hearings, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, participate in in-service training, and fulfill other duties supporting APM's mission.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in social work with at least 2 years of experience in human services (preferably in child welfare).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and clinical writing abilities.
- Critical thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
