Job Description
ThedaCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Open Heart OR Nurse to join our dynamic team. As an OR nurse, you will provide specialized, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment, working with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
Schedule
- Variable 8-hour shifts from 5am-1pm, Monday to Friday.
- On-call required 1 night per week and every 4th weekend.
- 30-minute response time expected for on-call duty.
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR Associates Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtain the BSN within five years.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical Demands
- Ability to move freely, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform patient care procedures.
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens while on duty.
