Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Supervisor I to join our team at ABF Freight in Denver, CO. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the timely and safe loading/unloading of freight during assigned shifts, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading activities.
• Maintain proper load plans for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and offer feedback to workers.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, especially for hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team to achieve department goals.

• Additional duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in transportation or related field is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques is essential.
