Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation through load balance.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and monitor team performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling protocols.
• Foster a positive, high-intensity work environment focused on safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve department goals and uphold company values.
• Execute other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience in service center or transportation is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• General knowledge of freight operations and handling techniques.
