Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Supervisor I to join our dynamic team in Denver, CO. As part of ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for efficient freight operations.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks and provide training to workers.
• Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance, and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure safe handling, loading, unloading, and storage of hazardous materials.
• Support department goals in a team setting and promote a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• Experience in service center or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight operations and handling techniques.
