Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an essential part of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe operations.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback to workers.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment for personnel and customers.
• Foster safe handling, loading, unloading, and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, along with transportation or related experience.
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of proper freight handling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
