Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our dynamic team at ABF Freight in Denver, CO. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling available resources to ensure the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for freight loading/unloading.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and monitor performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and ensure a safe working environment.
• Foster safe handling, loading, and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Supervisory experience a plus.
• Experience in transportation and knowledge of freight handling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
