Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an Operations Supervisor I, you will play a crucial role in coordinating resources for safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight, ensuring exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely and safe freight operations.
• Create and maintain load plans to ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, promoting safe handling of materials.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals in a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center or transportation field is a plus.
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of freight handling techniques are advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
