ArcBest II ABF Freight is looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a great opportunity to become part of one of the leading LTL carriers in the country.

General Description of Duties:

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for the safe and timely loading/unloading of freight.
• Ensure proper load balance and safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, monitor performances, provide training, and feedback.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic setting.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve department goals.
• Support company values focused on integrity, collaboration, growth, and wellness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred with experience in service center or transportation.
• Supervisory experience and general knowledge of freight handling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of import/export processes.
