OTP Charge Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified OTP Charge Nurse to join Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and its subsidiaries as part of our compassionate and professional team. Reporting to the Medical Director, the Charge Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal nursing coverage and quality care for our patients. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, managing medication processes, maintaining inventory, conducting health monitoring, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will uphold ethical standards, demonstrate strong nursing knowledge, and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Company Standards of conduct and maintain a positive attitude towards patients, staff, and visitors.
• Supervise OTP nursing staff, manage nursing schedules, and ensure medication process optimization.
• Manage medication inventory, order supplies, and dispose of medical waste in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct health monitoring assessments, dispense medications, and oversee progress note accuracy.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, handle patient concerns, and establish professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Provide crisis intervention, support program operation, and maintain timely client notes.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and Maryland RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire and strong knowledge of nursing functions and medication treatments.

Pluses:

• Annual TB and rubella screening, Hepatitis vaccination, and willingness to submit vaccination records.
