Job Description
Triangle Fastener Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor in the construction industry, is looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Madison, TN. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales by proactively engaging with prospects and customers in person within a designated geographic territory. This position requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, and a strong focus on customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass annual sales and margin goals.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts while targeting new customer opportunities.
- Travel to customer sites to build and maintain relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expedite orders and resolve issues.
- Participate in trade shows, training sessions, and sales meetings.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update reporting data.
- Cultivate relationships with key vendors and promote specific products.
- Conduct outside sales calls and record interactions using a CRM system.
- Participate in sales meetings with managers to align and drive team objectives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside sales experience required.
- Associate degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong sales acumen and persuasive abilities.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Knowledge of construction products sales preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.
