Job Description

Triangle Fastener Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor in the construction industry, is looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Madison, TN. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales by proactively engaging with prospects and customers in person within a designated geographic territory. This position requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, and a strong focus on customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or surpass annual sales and margin goals.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts while targeting new customer opportunities.
  • Travel to customer sites to build and maintain relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to expedite orders and resolve issues.
  • Participate in trade shows, training sessions, and sales meetings.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update reporting data.
  • Cultivate relationships with key vendors and promote specific products.
  • Conduct outside sales calls and record interactions using a CRM system.
  • Participate in sales meetings with managers to align and drive team objectives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience required.
  • Associate degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong sales acumen and persuasive abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Knowledge of construction products sales preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.
