Job Description
Join the ALDI team as a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. Operating cash registers, stocking shelves, and maintaining store aesthetics are crucial aspects of this role that provide variety and new challenges daily.
Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration with team members, maintaining security and confidentiality standards, and other assigned tasks are key responsibilities. Cashier duties involve customer service, handling purchases, and adhering to cash policies. Stocker duties include stocking shelves, creating displays, and operating machinery with safety in mind.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Prior retail experience preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail a plus
