Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to enhance the shopping experience at ALDI. Join our collaborative team in operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and serving customers. This role offers variety and new challenges daily.

Position Type

Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members, uphold security and confidentiality, and perform other assigned duties. Cashier responsibilities include processing purchases, providing exceptional customer service, and following cash policies. Stocker responsibilities involve stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and operating machinery.

Physical Demands

Regularly stand, bend, lift, carry, and walk. Stockers must handle merchandise up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years old, provide prompt customer service, apply company policies, and possess excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team and manage time efficiently. Cashiers need cash register skills, and Stockers must operate equipment safely.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma preferred, retail experience beneficial, equivalent education and experience accepted.
