Join the New England College of Optometry (NECO) team as a Patient Care Coordinator at our Boston Clinic. As the Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and managing various front desk responsibilities. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment in a professional graduate school setting.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and greet patients with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients.
- Collect and enter patient information accurately.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with staff doctors and Specialty Care Coordinator as needed.
- Perform various front desk duties and assist patients with care needs.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of customer service experience, with preference for health care sector experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish or Creole is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with medical office tasks and technology.
- High school diploma required.
