Patient Care Tech / PCT Med Surg Cardiology

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a Cardiology Medical Surgical PCT, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring their progress, and providing essential care under the supervision of medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Observe and report patients' progress to medical staff.
• Take and record vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output following unit protocols.
• Help patients with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Preferred: Completion of CNA, PCT, or paramedic program, or current enrollment in nursing school.
• Preferred: Two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
