We are recruiting for a Pediatric ED & Urgent Care FT Night RN to join our team at Denver Health. Our Pediatric Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment providing high-quality care to pediatric patients, ranging from minor ailments to major traumas. As the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in the Denver Metro Area, we play a critical role in the pediatric chain of care, collaborating closely with inpatient pediatric and ICU teams, and community pediatric care centers.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Pediatric ED & Urgent Care FT Night RN adheres to professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics to provide care to healthcare consumers. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, maintaining accurate records, monitoring and reporting symptoms, developing care plans, preparing patients for treatments, administering nursing care, and promoting positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Required
• Less than 1 year of experience (1 year in a direct patient care setting preferred)
• Licenses: BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA, RN-Registered Nurse - DORA
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments, effective communication, and Microsoft Office Suite
