Pediatric RN - Vent Experience

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric RN with Vent Experience to join our team at NurseCore Management Services LLC. This position is based in the NW Las Vegas/Summerlin 89149 area and involves providing high-quality care to an infant Pediatric home health patient. Day and night shifts are available, offering an opportunity to build a strong relationship with the patient and ensure exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and revisions of patient-specific comprehensive assessments and care plans.
• Provide patient and family education on disease processes and care needs.
• Collaborate with patient care teams, including physicians, supervisors, co-workers, and other medical providers.
• Engage in NurseCore's education programs relevant to the patient population.
• Mentor and educate co-workers, record and report changes in patients' conditions.
• Effectively communicate with patients' families for mentoring, advice, comfort, and discharge instructions.
• Update physicians and Clinical Director on patients' medical condition.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ventilator experience is a mandatory requirement.
• Hold a current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Nevada.
• Have at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years in a supervised setting, or qualify for and complete NurseCore's Nurse Residency Program.
• Possess a current CPR Card and negative TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months.
• Successfully complete the skills assessment relevant to your experience areas.
