We are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a full-time member of our evening shift team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate specimen collection and maintaining our high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism and create a cooperative working environment.
• Obtain specimens in compliance with laboratory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with care providers regarding patient information.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Follow procedural directions, prioritize workload, and assist colleagues for productivity.
• Handle specimen packaging, accessioning, and transport.
• Adhere to infection control practices and patient safety protocols.
• Perform drug screen collection and processing.
• Engage in continuous self-evaluation for professional improvement.
• Promote service excellence and contribute to the growth of the laboratory.
• Collaborate with multiple departments across the hospital/health system.
• Execute arterial punctures and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or prior phlebotomy experience.
• Previous work experience in a clinical setting.
