Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of plumbing systems. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supervising a team of plumbing technicians and helpers.

Responsibilities

• Confer with stakeholders to address work procedures, concerns, and job site issues.
• Plan and schedule plumbing projects to meet deadlines.
• Prepare budget estimates and progress reports.
• Monitor compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Organize and direct plumbing installation and maintenance activities.
• Review job specifications and adjust plans as needed.
• Implement quality control programs and respond to job site emergencies.
• Negotiate contract revisions with stakeholders.
• Obtain necessary permits and licenses.
• Evaluate cost-effectiveness of repair plans.
• Supervise and dispatch workers to job sites.
• Requisition materials for project completion.
• Develop methods to achieve departmental quotas.
• Ensure technicians are paid accurately and timely.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Coach and motivate technicians for improved productivity.
• Operate company vehicles safely.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
