Job Description
We are seeking a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join TOYOTI1 on a full-time basis. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for utilizing state-of-the-art reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machinery failures, thus minimizing downtime effectively. Your role will involve analyzing data to forecast imminent failures, utilizing diverse technologies such as infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic tools for daily data collection, and submitting work orders for repairs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and detect potential machine failures.
- Predict pending failures through data analysis.
- Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data collection.
- Schedule repairs during planned maintenance downtime.
- Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks.
- Perform equipment maintenance tasks like changing filters, oil, and grease.
- Recommend immediate equipment shutdown if necessary to prevent catastrophic failure.
- Collect oil samples for lab testing.
- Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Attend maintenance meetings and contribute to equipment improvement plans.
- Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
- Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written channels.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with reliability technology in a manufacturing environment.
- PDM related certifications or willingness to obtain them.
- Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
