Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Join our team at TOYOTI1 as a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician. In this full-time position, you will use reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures, minimizing downtime effectively. You will review data to forecast pending failures, utilize various technologies for data gathering, and collaborate with maintenance planners for timely repairs. Your role involves equipment monitoring, maintenance, and supporting plant operations to reduce unplanned downtime. An ideal candidate should have a background in industrial maintenance, experience with reliability technology, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failure by reviewing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners for timely repairs.
• Detect and repair air, steam, and nitrogen leaks.
• Recommend immediate equipment shutdowns for necessary repairs.
• Collect oil samples for lab testing.
• Support plant operations to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings as required.
• Participate in training to stay current in predictive maintenance technology.
• Identify conditions requiring immediate attention and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with root cause failure analysis and reliability technology.
• Willingness to obtain PDM certifications within a reasonable time.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
