Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures, predict pending issues, and recommend necessary repairs to minimize downtime effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Submit work orders and collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs.
• Detect leaks and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Recommend immediate equipment shutdown for critical issues.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Initiate plans to improve equipment reliability and lifespan.
• Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience with reliability technology and data analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of root cause failure analysis and willingness to obtain relevant certifications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
