Job Description

Silver Diner Development, LLC is looking for energetic and friendly Prep Cooks to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in serving excellent food using the latest culinary trends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized station, ensuring continuous cleanliness.
• Prepare menu items according to Silver Diner's specifications and standards.
• Measure and gather ingredients, cook items as per specifications, and label and store prepared items properly.
• Operate kitchen equipment with the appropriate knowledge.
• Notify management of any equipment repair or maintenance needs.
• Work as part of a team with clear and constructive communication.
• Follow uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance.

Requirements

• Prior cooking experience preferred but not required.
• Capability to lift at least 50 pounds and be 18 years or older.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Outgoing, energetic personality with organizational skills and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to multitask, think and act quickly while keeping composed.
• Physical stamina to withstand the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
