Principal Product Owner

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is looking for a Principal Product Owner to join our innovative team. In this role, you will focus on building capabilities to support our Rewards Program and Cardmember experiences, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive Discover sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

Major Responsibilities

• Interact and collaborate with stakeholders to define product features and roadmap.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prioritize product backlog items.
• Define functional and non-functional product requirements and ensure product quality standards.
• Partner with business technology to optimize system components and infrastructure maintenance.
• Build a culture of accountability and ownership within the product team.

Qualifications You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile Product Owner certification or 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner.
• Experience with bank or credit card systems or processes.
