Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse seeking an opportunity to work one on one with patients in a home health setting? ChristianaCare is looking for a dedicated Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. As part of our team, you will provide expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in Delaware, administering medications, coordinating care with families and healthcare providers, and ensuring compassionate and responsive service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships through compassionate, responsive, and courteous service.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments as ordered.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in Camden office.
- Previous home health and/or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
