Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse looking to work one on one with patients in the home health setting? ChristianaCare is seeking a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in DE. Responsibilities include coordinating care, administering medications, and building positive relationships with patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships with a compassionate approach.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Minimum of two weekend shifts required per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week orientation.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience preferred.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience a plus.
