Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide expert care to pediatric and adult patients in the comfort of their homes. Your role will involve coordinating care with families and healthcare providers, administering medications, and delivering a high standard of medical support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, doctors, and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments as ordered.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office.
- Previous home health or Long-Term Care experience is a plus.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
