Product Development Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Product Development Specialist to join Nestlé Purina, a leader in the pet care industry. As part of the Technical Services group, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative pet food products that enhance the lives of cats and dogs. Your responsibilities will include managing product development, exploring new technologies, and providing technical support to manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from conception to market, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage development, scale up, and implementation of new technologies.
• Explore innovative applications of pet food product/process possibilities.
• Act as a technical resource for marketing to develop a robust product pipeline.
• Support product formulation and ingredient qualification.
• Implement cost reduction ideas for product lines and factories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 1+ years of product development experience.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is approximately $80,000 to $103,000. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives, a competitive total rewards package, including a 401k with a company match, healthcare coverage, and other benefits.
