Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Product Manager specializing in NXL Programs to join our dynamic team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a world-leading manufacturer of aerospace components. As the NXL Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with Program Managers and Operations to ensure efficient industrial planning and support for the NXL program, aligning with delivery schedules and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of NXL program Industrial Planning, including developing production delivery plans, executing production introduction and ramp plans, managing work transfer and product change introductions, identifying and mitigating delivery risks, and developing production recovery plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the production process.
- Conduct capacity assessments, cycle time analyses, and manpower planning to fulfill production needs.
- Lead projects aimed at enhancing delivery and operational efficiency.
- Support, prepare, and present regular Industrial reviews to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Travel internationally and provide on-site support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with aviation experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Background in managing operations processes, optimizing workflows, and improving efficiency.
