Job Description

We are hiring a Project Engineer to lead the technical aspects of engineering projects at Bakerly Barn LLC. The role involves designing, specifying, and commissioning new process equipment, providing engineering support, and overseeing the installation and optimization of manufacturing processes. As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate with the Engineering Manager to achieve project goals and ensure operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Understand technical specifications provided by the Engineering Manager.
  • Manage bid processes, review supplier quotes, and make recommendations.
  • Coordinate equipment and process installations with external contractors and internal teams.
  • Oversee the launch of new equipment and production lines in collaboration with maintenance and production departments.
  • Train operators and technicians on equipment usage and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process and equipment optimizations to enhance product quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Flexibility in work schedule.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Engineering & Plant Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software like AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with foreign suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Adherence to safety protocols, punctuality, and commitment.
  • Capability to work in varied physical environments and handle equipment.

Backup

The Engineering Manager acts as a backup in the absence of the Project Engineer.
