Job Description
We are hiring a Lead Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health's team in Farmington Hills. In this full-time role, you will provide coordination and act as a resource for staff involved in radiology services. Responsibilities include leading daily work schedules, ensuring optimal patient flow, demonstrating leadership skills, and maintaining quality assurance standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for training new staff, performing patient care procedures, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
Essential Duties
- Lead daily work schedules and monitor patient flow.
- Assist in achieving site and system objectives.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
- Provide effective inter/intra-departmental communication.
- Ensure quality assurance and control of equipment.
- Perform radiographic procedures with care and efficiency.
- Train new staff and students.
- Maintain competency in various radiology procedures.
Standard Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 3-5 years' clinical staff technologist experience preferred.
- Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
