Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a Lead Radiology Tech to join our team at the Farmington Hills Hospital. This full-time position offers increased pay rates and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
General Summary:
As the Lead Radiology Tech, you will provide coordination and act as a resource for staff involved in general radiology services. Responsibilities include assigning and monitoring workflow, ensuring timely completion of exams, and maintaining imaging standards. You will lead daily work schedules, assist in achieving site objectives, and facilitate effective communication among various departments.
Essential Duties:
- Lead daily work schedules of staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Demonstrate leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
- Provide effective communication with medical staff and management.
- Perform radiographic and patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control measures.
Standard Qualifications:
Successful candidates must have graduated from a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program, hold ARRT certification, and maintain BLS certification. The position requires physical effort and the ability to work in a healthcare setting.
