Job Description
We are hiring a Lead Radiology Technician at Corewell Health. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and supporting staff involved in general radiology services. You will oversee the workflow, ensure the quality and timely completion of exams, and uphold departmental policies and imaging standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic images, providing patient care, training new staff, and maintaining equipment quality. Your leadership skills will be essential in achieving site and system objectives while fostering effective communication and collaboration within the department.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily work schedules and monitor patient flow
- Assist in achieving site and system objectives
- Demonstrate leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Ensure quality assurance and control on equipment
- Perform radiographic procedures and patient care
- Train new staff and students
- Assist in annual staff evaluations and interview process
- Maintain competency in assigned areas
- Adhere to safety standards and use hospital computer systems efficiently
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program
- 3-5 years of clinical staff technologist experience preferred
- Certification by ARRT and BLS Certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a radiology environment
