Radiology Technologist

Job Description

Corewell Health is currently seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. Additionally, you will provide clinical instruction, monitor patient safety during procedures, and maintain compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
• Acquire and document accurate patient history in the medical record.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow quality control procedures.
• Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
• Assist in the training of students and new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.

Working Conditions
