Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis working afternoons. The position involves performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, adhere to radiation safety principles, and uphold our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Use appropriate methods for radiographic and patient care procedures based on the patient's physical abilities.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
- Maintain equipment and exam rooms following quality control guidelines.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- ARRT certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers needed.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and coordinating patient care.
