Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health's team on a full-time basis during afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document it in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for procedures.
- Effectively communicate with various departments and personnel.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols in case of malfunctions.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in assigned areas and comply with quality standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT certification within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certification upon hire.
