Job Description

General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and providing high-quality images for interpretation, all while adhering to radiation safety principles and regulations.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Obtain accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to uphold safety standards.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure timely relay of STAT requests.
- Provide patient education and procedural information prior to exams.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in various diagnostic areas and uphold quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
