Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Full-Time Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic imaging department, performing accurate and efficient exams across various areas of general radiology.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire accurate patient history and documentation.
- Ensure patient safety and monitor patients during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, medical staff, and patients.
- Maintain equipment and operate diagnostic imaging tools proficiently.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Adhere to radiation protection principles and ALARA standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
