Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoons. As part of our collaborative team, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation and adhering to radiation protection principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician order.
- Acquire and document accurate patient history.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Use appropriate methods for different patient physical abilities.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and personnel.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and follow malfunction procedures.
- Minimize radiation exposure using ALARA standards.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training activities.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA upon hire required.
