Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with daytime shifts at our Royal Oak Hospital location. As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services while upholding our commitment to patient-centered care.
General Summary
Under supervision, the Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. Responsibilities include acquiring patient histories, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and operating imaging equipment efficiently.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with attention to patient identification and physician orders.
- Monitor patients for safety and use age-appropriate methods for procedures.
- Communicate effectively with staff and medical professionals.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide procedural information to patients and contribute to departmental operations.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas and assist in training new staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-R (ARRT) certification upon hire.
- CRT-BLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
