General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. Your clinical skills will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality images for interpretation while ensuring patient safety and applying radiation protection principles.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire and document accurate patient history.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize appropriate methods based on patient's abilities.
- Effectively communicate with staff and peers.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control policies.
- Educate patients on procedures.
- Assist in the training of new staff.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program required.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT 180 Days required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA upon hire required.
