Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis, working days. As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire and document accurate patient histories in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for radiographic and related patient care procedures.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control protocols.
- Provide patient education and information prior to exams.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required.
