General Summary
The Radiology Technologist performs accurate diagnostic exams in various general radiology areas, demonstrating excellent clinical skills and adhering to radiation protection principles. This role includes patient monitoring, procedure documentation, and maintaining equipment.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams ensuring patient safety.
- Acquire and document patient history accurately.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients.
- Provide procedural information and educational support to patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-R Radiographer (R) required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
