Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
• Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
• Utilize age-appropriate methods for patient care procedures.
• Ensure timely relay of STAT requests to radiologists.
• Effectively communicate with various departments and individuals.
• Proficiently operate diagnostic imaging equipment and adhere to quality control standards.
• Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
• Assist in training new hires and students.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
• Stay competent in all assigned areas and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 days required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association upon hire required.
